The cost of Day Camp is $60 per scout if paid on or before April 3rd. The cost is $70 per scout if paid on or after April 4th. Cost at camp is $75 except for newly registered Cub Scouts. |

Day Camp is a week long adventure for fun with a purpose! Cub Scouts get the chance to shoot BB Guns, Bows & Arrows, work on crafts, play games, learn about nature, and work towards badges.
The Day Camp program is designed for this year's graduating Kindergarten (Tiger), First (Wolf) and Second grade (Bear) Cubs. Again this year we will have a SPECIAL Webelos program that will provide unique and challenging opportunities for the older boys.
The Northern Tier District Camp is staffed with trained, qualified leaders who will ensure your Cub Scouts enjoy a wonderful summer-time experience.
What does a pack need to do?
A pack needs to appoint a Pack Day Camp Coordinator who will provide their contact information to the Camp Directors. This person will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely registration for your boys.
- Each pack will also need a full-time, “Walking Leader”. This person needs to be 21 years of age, a registered member with the BSA, and they must have completed Youth Protection and Fast Start training. This person will attend camp with the unit each day and will be fully informed of all details of Day Camp. Each pack will need an additional adult, to satisfy the two deep leadership requirement.

Webelos Overnight
Back by popular demand is the Webelos Overnight! Plan a more adventurous program and a campout on Wednesday night.
Important Upcoming Day Camp Dates
Staff Training- May 28, 2015 at 7 p.m. at Riverfront Park or if it rains Shawnee United Methodist Church
June 6, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Shawnee Riverfront Park.
Staff should try to attend both meetings.

Leader helps: The Troop 394 will provide a nice large awning, a hand washing station, and some water coolers. These are stored in the scout closet. Please get with a troop representative to get this. Recommended to set this all up the Sunday before camp starts. Also recommend saving clothes lint. This is used for one of the tasks of preventing an ice cube from melting during the hot day.
