Planning ahead for the month of May, we will be going to the US National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, North Carolina (5000 Whitewater Center Pkwy, Charlotte, NC 28214).
The current plan is to leave Saturday (May 25th) around 7am from the Food Lion parking lot. We will travel directly to the Whitewater Center and enjoy our high adventure activities including whitewater rafting varying in class rapids, zip lines and cope courses, mega jumps, rock walls and deep water climbing, and even traditional flat-water activities including kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding.
While in the park scouts can have their choice of lunch at a few in park dining options (see website for menu options) This is an adventure for every member of the troop to enjoy!
After our day at the whitewater center, we currently plan to catch dinner as a troop and rest at a local hotel for Saturday night. Sunday morning, we will plan to have breakfast at the hotel and then head back home.
