Scout Sunday

The Boy Scouts of America designates the Sunday that falls before February 8 (Scouting Anniversary Day) as Scout Sunday, which is the primary date to recognize the contributions of young people and adults to Scouting.  As part of the Scout Sunday Celebration, we volunteer to help our Charter Organization, The Knights of Columbus, with their Pancake Breakfast.  We also hold a Cake Competition where the scouts decorate cakes and are judged by the KoC!

Blue & Gold Banquet

The blue and gold banquet is a highlight of the year. It brings families together for an afternoon of fun and cheer and serves as the pack meeting for February. This is the time when our Webelos II cross over to Boy Scouts with the Arrow of Light Ceremony.  We have entertainment, a pot luck and sometimes you get to see a pie into a Den Leaders face!

Pinewood Derby

Each year the cub scouts have the opportunity to build a race car out of a block of wood.  Then in April, we have our Pack Race.  Boys will race against others in their Den.  The top 2 cars from each den get to enter the District Race in May!

Pack 41 Crossover & Chuckwagon Skills Day

Each year in May, we hold our Pack 41 Crossover.  This is where the Scouts (Tigers thru Webelos I) officially cross over to they're next Den.  The crossover may be held in a banquet hall or even a campout.  Wherever it's held, it's always a blast!

Remember, these are just some of the activities that occur throughout scouting.  With Food Drives, Community Service Projects, Fundraising and Fall and Spring Campout opportunities, Pack 41 does it all!
