The History of Troop 19 started long time ago. In May of 1963 Troop 19 received their first charter from Uwharrie Council in High Point District. The cost of chartering the troop was $1.00 per adult. Half that was used to cover the cost of scouting magazine. The first Scoutmaster was R. Earl Sides.The pastor of AUMC at the time was Ivan A Stephens.
   The following year Mr. William W. white became Scoutmaster.More to come
