Cub Scout Pack 3381 is a registered Boy Scout Pack operating within the Heart of America Council, Shawnee Trails District.  The Chartered Organization for the Pack is the Leawood Presbyterian Church, 2715 W 83rd Street, Leawood, KS 66206.  Our membership is composed of cub scouts primarily from the Corinth Elementary School in the Shawnee Mission USD 512 school district.  We currently have approximately 70 registered Cub Scouts in four active dens.

Your son is welcome at Pack 3381 and we feel he will be very comfortable here.  Our scouts, leaders, parents and volunteers work together to make a great scouting experience.  Below is important information to consider in joining Pack 3381.

  • Pack Meetings: are held the third Thursday of the month from September until May (the school year) from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Corinth E.S. cafeteria unless notified of a change.  There is no meeting in November.  Our Pinewood Derby, which is held in January, and our Pancake Breakfast Fund Raising Event, which takes place in March, will take the place of regular pack meetings.
  • Den Meetings:  are held at least once a month with times and dates determined by the Den Leader and parent volunteers to best meet their schedules. Various activities will be organized with the goal of learning and earning various cub scout awards.  As cubs progress, they will typically stay with the same adult leaders as they earn the higher ranks in cub scouting.
  • Camping events:  camping opportunities are available in Cub Scouting though not nearly as extensive as you will find in Boy Scouts.  Day camps for Tiger Cubs to overnight adventures for Webelos help expose cub scouts to what they may experience when they crossover to Boy Scouts.
  • Shawnee Trails District and Heart of America Council sponsor regional events: such as Scout Day at the "K"Scouting 500 at the Kansas Speedway, and dozens of other fun and exciting events that afford cubs and their families plenty of opportunities experience scouting with their den or the whole pack.

We thank you for your interest in Pack 3381 and hope that we can introduce your son to the scouting program.  For further information into having your son become a cub scout with Pack 3381 or volunteering to lead a den cubs please reach out to us.
