Welcome to Sarasota Troop 50!

Please visit our new site at https://troop50sarasota.trooptrack.com/

Boy Scout Troop 50 is part of the Southwest Florida Council, Two Rivers District, in Sarasota, Florida.  We are sponsored by Pine Shores Presbyterian Church. Troop 50 is Sarasota's oldest continuous troops, being established over 60 years ago.  We are a boy-led troop that is mentored and supervised by adult volunteer leaders. Parents are an integral part of our troop program as well. It is through their participation as Assistant Scout Masters and Troop Committee members that we can provide a safe, interesting and varied program.

Boys ages 11 - 17 are invited to join our troop.  The purpose of Scouting is to instill the aims of scouting through methods that include the ideals of the Scout Oath and Scout Law, patrols, outdoor adventures, advancement, personal growth and leadership development.

We meet most Tuesday evenings during the school year from 7-8:30pm at Pine Shores Presbyterian Church in their Community Center Building located at 6135 Beechwood Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34231.  Please contact Scoutmaster Todd Menke at (941) 915-9662 or you can email him at menke@genmarkcapital.com for more information.

This site has been created to keep Scouts and Parents in Troop 50 informed of the Troop Events and provide important information on boy scout activities, summer camps, high adventure camps and forms and rosters related to scouting and our Troop.
